This session will highlight innovative uses of using DHIS2 for improving education data systems and addressing the needs of out-of-school children in low resource settings. Educate A Child in partnership with Rwanda and The Gambia demonstrate how integration DHIS2 with national education and health systems enables the identification, enrollment and retention of marginalized children and youth. The Aga Khan Foundation's work in Uganda's West Nile region showcases the transition from fragmented, paper-based or basic data collection tools to a comprehensive DHIS2-based EMIS.
